Cooping

***Please note that the coop portion of our program will be suspended for the 2021-2022 school year and also for the 2022-2023 school year. Although we value our coop program, we feel it is best to suspend it one more year for safety. You can read more about our coop program below and we look forward to welcoming coop parents into our classrooms at some time in the near future.

Cooping is an integral part of the school life at VBCC. Parents’ cooping helps to support the teachers in the classrooms during the school day. The coop program provides a practical way for parents to be involved in their child’s growth and development.

Parents are an important part of VBCC. We provide Parent Helper Training Workshops, which all new parents are strongly encouraged to attend. These workshops are beneficial to all parents, and offered in the fall.

Each family is expected to work a set number of days each year according to how many days your child(ren) attends VBCC.

3 days 8 days about every 5 weeks 3 days
