Philosophy
We believe children learn and grow in a sequential growth pattern.
We believe children are individuals with unique characteristics.
We believe children’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive and spiritual growth is interrelated and that the development of the whole child is important.
We believe children learn best through concrete experiences that are meaningful, relevant and important to them.
We believe fostering the growth and development of children is a partnership between parents and teachers.
You, the parent, are the most important influence in the growth of your child, and your involvement in the classroom is important. We will provide opportunities for families to volunteer during the school year such as make playdough for our classrooms, help as a room parent, read a story to your child’s class, help in a classroom with a special project, help on our playground, and move. We also try to provide parent workshops during the school year.
